On Privacy

There is something very private about public toilets. The moment you lock the door you are with yourself only, be it in a clean and friendly or in a yucky environment.

I must admit, I was not aware of this privacy being a key aspect of public toilets until I saw this totally public toilet in a coffee house in Vienna, Austria. I was left in disorientation and confusion – and with my very basic needs.
